Default Moving hood at speed on '91

Not sure if this the right area for this, sorry if not. Just got the truck 2 weeks ago, and have noticed the hood moves alot at highway speeds. Its the back end,at the cowl, that moves around like its eady to pop open. The front end looks pretty solid, is there some type of adjustment to these hoods. All the rubber bumpers are there, I think, along the fender.

Mine does the same thing. It's annoying, but I don't think its hurting anything. I plan on looking into it later this spring.

Yes it is, looks as if something is tying to get out. Really makes my wife nervous.

I do know that I need to replace the drivers side front fender, and the front bumper. For now nothing is straight like it should be, but I haven't figured out why the Hood moves either.

Mine does the same thing, hasn't been an issue yet. Probably moves 1-1/2 to 2 inches up and down when doing 75.

Then again, my fender is falling off the car...so maybe something in the hood area has rusted through as well.

My hood has stopped moving, when I bought the truck it had a generic bug deflector. It was about 4 inches tall and flat, so stood staight up from egde of hood, not formed to hood like the new ones. this got me thinking of the aero of this thing, so I took it off, and the hood stopped bouncing around. Going to save up some change and get a newer deflector, really dont like the bug splashes, very distracting

hmm... interesting. No bug shield here, so I can't use that as an option....but at least you found the cause of yours!
