1993 blazer 4.3 vortex won't stay running

Can any one help me . The truck will start when cold some times and run great untill the temp starts to come up then die. I have checked the fuel pump pressure and it reads 58 to 60 psi. I crack the fuel return line on back of manifold and it will start back up. I retighten and it will cont. to run at a idle for a little while. When I hit the gas it will die out as if it ran out of gas or I turned of the key. Then it will not start again. What direction should I be heading to narrow down this problem?

Try disconnecting the wire harness to the EGR valve. This will cause the CE light to come on, but otherwise will not affect the vehicle. If your engine runs fine off of idle, you either need to remove hte EGR valve and clean it, or replace it. If there is no change in the way it is running, you can simply plug the wire harness back in and cycle the ignition to remove the CE light.
