Hello all!
new guy here
I need help finding or knowledge of repair,my right exhaust manifold is cracked.I'm having trouble finding replacement.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Junk yards or ebay are your best options.

I got a spare set here but they changed the AIR pump fittings sometime around 86 and I'm not if you would wanna try to rig them up.

yeah, have been scouring the internet for the manifold for my 85 not much luck.I'm considering a repair of the existing one i.e. having it welded..any thoughts on this?

welding the cast mnifold is a major pain in the ass. actually, welding anything that is made of cast iron is a pain. make sure whoever you have do this, is experienced in welding cast, 'cause it's really easy to screw it up.
in regards to the different manifolds over the years (ie: '85 to '86), do you have any etesting to do where you live? if not, then i'd just use whatever 2.8 manifolds you can find. personally, i plugged the ports on my '84 Blazer with a NPT fitting since 5 outta the 6 pipes on the "octopus" were rotted off. never mind the fact that the pump had siezed, and been bypassed by another owner.

On anything after 86/7 there is only one port for the AIR pump.

Well i've turned my beast over to my mechanic.for he has kept the beast on the road for many a year so wish me luck! The weld part is going to involve some type of nickel weld, the 1st i've heard of this. Yes the air port changed in 86.My Uncle was the original owner of the Blazer s10,he was also a GM employee for 40 yrs,he told me that GM did alot of changes on this type of engine i.e block for whatever reason ,but end up returning to the orignal weight of it.
