87' S10 Short in Fuel Pump! Wiring Diagram?

Hi guys. There is a short somewhere in my wiring because my fuel pump fuse keeps blowing after start up. When i replace it, the truck starts right up but then the fuse blows. This is why i belive there is a short somewhere. Rather than find the short i decided to just rewire it but do not have a diagram to do so. If anyone has one or any advise for me id greatly appreciate it.

RE: 87' S10 Short in Fuel Pump! Wiring Diagram?

You'll find it here. Since you said AFTER it starts, my guess would be the pump motor is shorting and drawing too much current in which case rewiring would do nothing but like I said, I'm guessing. I would run through the wiring with a meter or disconnect the pump wiring from the car wiring at the connector and hook up 12 volts to it with a fuse of the same amperage and see if it blows . Just don't forget that it will be pumping gas if it runs though...
