89 + 94 4X4 problems
 

I have a 1989 and a 1994 s-10 blazer and neither of the 4by works I am parting out the 89 soon stripping it down to the frame for spare parts on the 94 but I need to know some of the common problems with 4by malfuntions the 4by in the 94 is a push button and the transfer case definelty kicks in when in four low i can feel the gearing difference but the front wheels are not pulling. the front axle moves but nothing further. Help Please....

Both have the same vacuum actuated front axle engagement mechanism that can be problematic. There are many posts on here about the problems that occur.
