any help would be great. got a 92 s10 blazer 4.3 vortec, it is idling high, and sometimes while driving it feels like it has a "sticky" throttle, causing harder braking and wear...when the pedal feels sticky and i put in i neutral or park it idles high, but sometimes after driving it goes away and put it in park and it idles normal then may go back up sometime..Need help asap!!

 

I had a similar problem. Have you taken the throttle body off lately? Check to make sure your cruise control cable isn't pulling too much tension on your throttle plate keeping it open too far especially if you have taken the TB off. I am assuming your TB is similar to mine. ALWAYS FIRST check for vacuum leaks though. Keep it simple first.

 

mine did this when i forgot to plug the idle sensor back in its easy to skip the plug hides under the e.g.r and the female plug faces the rear of blazer and not easy to see.
