Default 92 S10 Blazer Starting issues

I have a 92 S10 blazer V6. Sometimes I turn the ignition switch and it doesnt do anything, then I have to slightly start moving the shifter arm until it starts. Was told it could be some type of safety switch but not sure which one. Any help....

I know on most GM's it's down on the steering column, as is the ignition switch. I believe the neutral switch is further down & easier to get to, if I remember correctly.

Here's what it looks like: 1987-1994 Chevrolet Blazer Neutral Safety Switch - Replacement ARBB506401 - OE replacement
