93 Chevy Blazer cranks up but then misses and cuts off

My 93 chevy blazer has ran great from the day I got it about a year ago. About a couple of days ago I notice a slight miss in the engine, which over time became worse to the point that the car would run fine and then cut off while Im driving it. The night it started it was raining really hard...i don't know if that could have effected it... one time i could barely get the car to start. it would crank only after multiple times of trying and putting my foot all the way on the gas, then when i switch to drive it begins to miss/stall again until evntually if im going to under 20 it cuts off.The car cranks up and idles ok with just a few noticiable misses, when i begin to drive it the missing becomes more frequent and the truck sounds like it going to die then it does. anyways I know it not the map sensor or the plugs as those have already been replaced, i dont thinks its the altenator because the car cranks and all the lights and elctronics aree running fine.

help me find out whats wrong with my beloved blazer

thanks

fuel pressure regulatur

I have a 93 w/ the vortec and i had the same problem from what it sounds like i replaced everything i could think of. Then someone told me about the fuel pressure regulator in the intake. it took me about 30 mins to change it and the truck had a 110% inprovment. Tought it might help another blazer lover

If it's worse when it's wet out, it could be water getting under your distributor cap.

Check the cap and rotor carefully and replace 'em with AC Delco parts if there's any worn spots, arcing, carbon tracking, cracks...
