Distributor changed out old one was rough to spin and reductor was hitting I think also. Bushings out. Now I have no power to coil. Shouldn't I have power to cool with key on. Anyone know why I may not be getting power to cool now??

got her back started. had fouled out new plugs from the old distributor and went back to old ones. changing out to new ones today. old ones were hopfully fouled by bad distributor. now that new one is in hoping for the best. the pickup was hitting the reductor in the distributor. thinking that was main problem but cant tell with it in motor. when I took it out the distributor had a catch to it when I would turn the bottom gear and when it would mate up to the reductor. thinking I had a bushing out in it enough to foul some plugs and fouled out new ones also when I changed them the first time. When I get home from work with plugs today. Hoping it will run proper with new plugs and new distrubutor this time. fingers crossed as I am getting to the end of my rope.

well time to look at the knock sensor and/cam position sensors. And maybe even the temp control sensor. I've read where the temp sensor can make it run rich?? IS this so? anyone have a similar problem? and Does the knock sensor retard the timing or does it control the voltage to the coil some how that it could be going out and turning power on and off a lot during while it is running and making it run bad? Its running better just not correct. Just seems like a timing issue. Any help is appreciated. thanks

Default was the spider.

ran rough but was ultimately the spider injector. other things needed but not the main cause. sorry just getting around to updating the thread.
