94 Power Window Switch

I've read a few posts over the years about the driver's side window switch going bad.
Actually this one is in an Astro but is used in Blazer/Jimmy also. I ordered a new switch from Rock Auto.
Unfortunately the new switch was bad. Rock Auto said they would send a new one
without me even returning the original ! Great Service !

I got back on their site and realized that they listed three different brands.
Dorman $24.99, Airtex/Wells $42.79 and Standard Motor Parts $41.79.
I had the Dorman. I've had numerous problems with Dorman parts in the past.
I called Rack Auto back saying I'll pay more for the other brand. I asked if they had info
on where parts are made - they said no. I explained that I was wondering if I ordered
the other brand at almost twice the price, would I get the same Made in China switch.
They said it was possible.

So - Anybody have any experience with these switches ?

Just a question, but are you sure it's the switch and not the motor or the wiring that goes through the door?

Yeah - Old switch works. It's just falling apart.
This is just a two switch master on the driver's side .

Okay, then. No, I don't have any experience with replacement switches. Do any of your LAPS have the switch you could look at before you buy?

I will say most of Standard's parts are made in china. I have no idea about Airtex (no experience with them). Many of Dorman's parts are also made in china, but not all.
