body mounts and stuff??
Hi all,
Well I just bought a 94 taho/blazer s-10 style. It looks like i'm into front body mounts. It's completely rusted out. Can I twist or cut the old mount bolt off and replace with a piece of ready rod or something? Or should I weld it solid to the new floor piece?
Also, how do you remove the front fenders? I had to take a chisel to the whole seam across the top, if I had wanted to keep it, good luck.
Replaced the heater core. That wasn't to bad of a job.
How do I remove the stereo bezel? The top left side seems stuck and I didn't want to snap it. To the right side of the radio there is a black rubber switch, Whats it for? I pulled it apart by mistake trying to unplug it. oops...
Any insight and info would be great! Thanks..

RE: body mounts and stuff??
What are front body mounts worth anyway? Actually the ones under your left foot when driving. Will likely smoke em out pretty good if I just weld it solid to the new floor by cutting a hole for the bolt to go through and welding the head.. Just don't want to put to much into it. Sorry if this is confusing. Any answers to my other questions?
Thankyou,

Can anyone at least tell me how to remove the stereo bezel/trim cover?? I really don't want to snap it.
