You got a MAP sensor...GM added the MAF sensor with OBDII systems to better control emissions...more sensors = more control???

well in my truck i have the OBD1 so if i dont have the OBDII then i would not have the MAP sensor right....im just trying to find out what i have to replace.

Your truck has a MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor.

The MAF sensor was introduced in the 96+ SCFI motors, IIRC.
