Default CPI Conversion

I have a 93 4.3 CPI engine. Have heard that I could use a Intake from a 85 4.3 that is carbureted. Was wondering if this will work with the CPI heads?

Thanks for any help

The bolt pattern and gasket surfaces (angles, etc) will be the same. The only thing that may be different is that your engine may have a balance shaft. If the carb intake extends too far into the lifter valley, it could interfere with the balance shaft.
