cruise control quit working

well ok another problem i have(oh yay). my cruise control just up an quit working. it seems that a different problem i had stopped an then this dont work. i had a tail lamp fuse keep blowing and when that stopped so did the cruise control. i really have no info on what to do. ive searched on here and found a few things. like a relay may be bad but where is that located? and ill probably buy a new switch that is with the brake switch. im hoping its not anything more then that. but does any one have other ideas that i would need to do and check? thanks for any help

RE: cruise control quit working

I replaced my module and servo, and was told that it is a electrical problem in my steering wheel (switch). I havent got to it yet as I don't have wheel puller. It sounds like you have a short, which would most likley be your switch.

93' caused me alot of headache and foun about six months later that the pin that holds the cable to the vacuum ball broke replaced and has worked fine for a couple of years now. This may not be your problem but it don't hurt to see.
