Driver Side Power Door Lock Problem

The driver side power door lock switch does not work however I can lock and unlock both doors from the passenger side. How can I test to see if it's the switch or is it some relay or fuse thingie?

RE: Driver Side Power Door Lock Problem

Definitely sounds like the switch is bad. All of the door locks are run off of the same fuse so it isn't that. You should be able to remove the switch and test it with a multimeter.

RE: Driver Side Power Door Lock Problem

Good tip, now since all I know about a multimeter is that you probobly get one at Radio Shack, and what I'm about to find out on Google as soon as I post this, LOL. Could you lemme know how to test the switch with a multimeter and what reading I am looking for. Pardon the ignorance, and thank you.
