Freeze plug leak

Really? Are you serious? Well now that school has started, the Jimmy now has a coolant leak. it is at one of the freeze plugs. AND guess which one?
Yeah, the one right above the starter. Man I really need to win the lottery. I need the money so I can hire someone else to fix this darn truck. Get rid of it? No way. I'm not letting this truck get off that easy. I'm keeping this thing forever. I have too much time and money into it.

Whew. thanks for letting me vent.:icon_screwy:

lol damn dude. Id rather replace the transmission the that damn freeze plug. Sucks.

BOTH of my torsion bar mounts are bad,and my rear diff is clunking and my driver seat is coming apart. Im seriously thinking about selling it for coupla hundred and buying another one. I cant keep throwing money away.

I hear ya there Chris015. Of all the freeze plugs to have to replace, it had to be that one. There is a pull and pay junk yard less than 8 miles from my house for parts and pieces for the Jimmy. It is crap like this freeze plug that just get me discouraged. Not that I can't do the job, it's just that I am really getting tired of this little truck nickel and diming me to death. It is either this nickel and dime or go to the dealership and buy a new car with a warranty. I don't see that happening for a high school kids first car.
I will stop whining and pacify myself with a big bowl of ice cream and get busy as soon as I can on that damn freeze plug.
It is actually rusted thru. So I'm seriously considering replacing all of them. Yay. Fun for me.

Well, freeze plug is replaced, so is the radiator, thermostat and heater hoses. The Jimmy now has an intact cooling system. Once again, Jimmy is my favorite car. (until he screws up again)
