Permatex 21351 - Rear Window Defogger Tab Adhesive | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Yup, good stuff, used it many times. It does what it's supposed to do if you follow the directions: adhesive that conducts electricity. They also make a product that you can "paint" on if one of the lines of the defroster breaks, that's good stuff too.

sounds good then

Ill pick some up in the morning when i get the struts

Ahhh, piece of cake. Solder it back together using rosin core solder. DON'T solder on the glass... BOOM, big mess.

xgiovannix12 11-20-2011 05:16 PM

so i need to remove the tab? i was looking at something called solder paste

i think it hardens like solder when done

Captain Hook 11-20-2011 05:33 PM

Did the spade terminal break off of the tab that solders to the glass?

xgiovannix12 11-20-2011 05:36 PM

the tabs on the glass its self the wire broke off the tab its self

Captain Hook 11-20-2011 05:37 PM
