Default head gasket sealant?

I just brought home a 1984 4 x 4 S-10 blazer. The guy I got it from said it had a blown head gasket and instead of replacing the head gasket he bought some kind of sealer that I guess he poured in through the radiator and it ran then it just stopped. The engine won't turn now but that was a year ago that he tried his magic on it. Any ideas or tips on what to look for? Thanks

Can you turn the engine over via the crank bolt?
Pull the spark plugs and squirt a ton of oil in there. Slowely work the engine back and forth, hopefully you can free it up. If not, your looking at a rebuild.

If this truck has the 2putt8 V6 in it. Replace it with a 3.4L V6. Camaros are donors. GM sells a replacement crate engine (3.4L) as well. Check with GM Perofrmance Parts on line.

I will shoot some oil in it today and let it soak. Thanks for your ideas!

Shot some oil in it and let it sit a while turned it over with a socket wrench. Turns over now and pumped the oil out of each cylinder while I was turning it so I guess the rings must be good. All the plugs looked good? I figured with a blown head gasket one of them would have been nasty??
