Hole in my door sill

Hi everybody!

I have a question, my ‘92 S-10 Blazer has a hole in the door sill (bought it like that), what can I do to prevent rusting?

Thanks in advance!

First, clean up any existing rust, then put some type corrosion control on the back side, hammer down the edges of the split/cut and welded it up. Grind down the weld nice and smooth. put body filler on and sand, prime and paint.

If this is beyond your skills, get a couple of quotes from some body shops. Shouldn't cost to much as it is a fairly easy fix and shouldn't take much time on the labor side. The number 1 thing I would be concerned with is getting that corrosion control taken on the back side and/or inside the rocker.

Basicly ditto to what AJBEST wrote.

I'd suggest considering tbe use of this internal frame coating product.
