Loosing antifreeze.
I normally wouldn't ask for help with such a noob task (finding a leak), but I absolutely cannot find the source. All I know is that it ends up coming out of a small hole on the transmission shield and is a steady drip so it leaks out rather quick. It needs a good gallon every 2-3 days. Anyone ever heard of anything similar? This is a 94' 4.3 vin W by the way.
transmission shield as in a skid plate? or torque convertor cover? if its coming from the rear, only thing that might be the problem is a freeze plug,or maybe rear of intake manifold.
Yea the one over the torque converter. I hope it's not a damn freeze plug.
yea, they arent exactly the best thing to repair. Another thought is this,im not sure if the 94' has it but my 91 has the heater hose that runs into a fitting on the passenger side of the distributor. That may be leaking and running down the block.
That's what my Dad just now said.
Yea,whatcha need to do if you cant find it is go pressure wash everything real good, and wait till nighttime, jack her up (use safety jacks!) grab a bright flashlight and start searching for the leak. Reason i say at night is the daylight glare etc can be a nuisance.

could be lower intake manifold gasket. check the valley between the valve cover and intake manifold.
Thanks for the suggestions, peeps. I work graveyard so I'll try these mid afternoon today. Thanks again, I'll let you know!
Check the rear intake down below the distributor really good. Thats a known weak point.
I've checked everything but I'm going to double check. Sorry for delayed responses, I work 3rd shift and have been struck down with some sort or cold/strep throat.
