low fuel pressure....?
Hi guys, I have searched hi and low for the answer to this problem but have found nothing so here goes...
The original problem was the 4.3L engine in our 1993 S10 blazer would turn over, but not start. The fuel pump was replaced, and the engine started and ran, but felt sluggish and low on power. About 100 miles after the replacement, the engine slowly lost more and more power until one day it would crank fine, but not start again.
Just shooting in the dark at this problem I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, and replaced the fuel pump again. Now the car will still NOT start, and it only gets about 10 psi of fuel pressure...
What could be causing such low fuel pressure?!?!?!
Sorry for the long post, but any and all help is appreciated.

Well that depends which engine you bought a fuel pump for... A CPI (vin W) uses a pump that produces about 60psi and a TBI (vin Z) motors pump makes about 12psi.
