need a answer please.

I have a 89 2dr 4.3 s blazer. The engine is toast so the question i have is this. What year engines are a swap in this year blazer. i would guess like 88-91 as i believe 92 started the vortec engine.

Any Vin Z (TBI) 4.3L will work. The TBI engine was offered along side the CPI engine (Vin W) at least up to 93 in the s-10 pickup and I believe in the v6 C1500's as well.
