Here's a step by step to check the coil & ignition mod on a GM 4.3, 5.0. & 5.7 engine.

When I connected the black lead of the LED test tool with the red lead attached to Battery (+) terminal the LED light came on and that was with the ignition switch off and then when I turned the ignition switch to on position the light went out and didn't flash. I even tryed it with the Lead going to the Ignition module disconnected the LED light still stayed on.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
