Need some help with my 1987 S10 Blazer sport 4X4 with the 2.8L TBI

Well neither me nor my chiltons manual or my mechanic can locate the fracking fuel filter on my blazer... i have the replacement part i just cant find where the fuel filter is. if anyone knows and can possibly post a picture or point me in the direction of a diagram that would be awesome. i think its hidden in the frame somewhere and we just cant find it.

On the 2.8, I am pretty sure it is up by the drivers side motor mount... not easy to find, or change.

I have the same drive set-up in an '86 and if you follow the line from the carb back down the front of the engine you'll find it right behind the power steering pump and as mentioned above just in front of the driver's side motor mount.
