new distributor,no start
 
ok so here the problem.first the fuel pressure regulator went out,changed it an itake gasket.well i fired up run like crap,so i changed plugs wires cap rotor,figured the plugs were fouled.which they were.now the new problem when all was changed it want fire,so i checked for fire it wasn't getting fire from dist,but it was from coil,so changed ignition control module,still now fire put in new dist,now have fire want crank,like a dummy i forgot to mark dist,so i pulled up #1 tdc pointed the rotor at what i think is 1 on dist,got it to fire up ran like crap figured it was still not timed right took the dist back out set it again no start,still firing,want start up,pulled the timing chain cover the marks lined up i guess 6 on cam gear 12 on crank,are those suppose to lined up at #1 tdc? also the chain has alot of slop really loose,just need some help to figure this thing out, thanks ahead of time oh yeah its a 93 vortec
