prop valve bad again... need serious help-
ok so i replaced a leaky prop valve a few months ago. i figured it was old and just went out. today driving i lost brakes. no stopping at all. parked and had someone press the pedal and the prop valve is leaking at the joint where the rear line exits the valve. my question is why does this keep happening and is there a way to get rid of this valve? im ordering another but i dont wann go thru this again. i do not have ABS. this is an 87 s 10 blazer. any advise would be great. if anymore info is needed ask and ill do my best to answer.

i was gonna go that route with my 86 k30 but figured out the problem i was having wasnt the prop valve.
only thing that is going to suck is running all those lines, the proportioning valves always use screwy ends so doubtful you will be able to find unions to by pass the prop valve so you will either have to cut and compression fitting them (i hate using those things) or run all new lines
also i have no idea how the heck you go about adjusting that thing. how do you know what percentage your rear brakes are at. i would think in the winter you could mess with it till all 4 wheels slide but youre gonna be doing a lot of adjusting and driving
