My 91 4.3L had a little too much oil in it, so i decided to just drain the whole thing cause it was in need of a change anyhow. i also changed the plugs and wires too. everything got done and with the right amount of oil. but now it seems to smoke alot. Is that typical of an oil change or is somethin wrong?

 

My dad and I just completely rebuilt a 92 4.3 with the throttle body on top. it smoked just a bit from new oil but soon quit. also make sure you didnt drip any on anything that gets hot. hope i helped
