Radiator oil cooler holes: '89 no vs '93 yes

I'm replacing the radiator on my 1989 S10 Blazer (4.3L V6), and I found a radiator for a 1993 Blazer (also 4.3) so I went and picked it up. I got the old radiator out and realized the new one has 2 oil cooler holes (I think that's what they are?) and my old one doesn't have them. Is that a problem or can I just screw plugs in them?

Thanks

Yes you can plug them. I also have a spare radiator with the optional oil cooler lines that I plan to install after I find the right filter housing that will support that radiator.

You dont even have to plug them if you do not want to.

Thanks. A little bit after I posted the thread I talked with my older brother and he said it's fine to leave them open. :)
