Default same problem different tranny

Ok folks get ur thinking caps on. everything went good installing the tranny and the converter was about a 1/4 inch from the fly wheel so the bolts pulled it tight. But now this used tranny is doing about the same thing as the one i replaced. it came with the torque converter so i opted too use it instead of mine even though you could still wiggle it on the spline a little bit, but as before the drive and overdrive are slipping i would think different tranny different results no matter what they are not the same. So could there be something else? Like the vacuum lines to the tranny or tv cable? I have 30 day warranty exchange but i;m hoping i don't have to pull the tranny back out all though now i could do it in 2-3 hours no problem. If someone has any ideas I would love to hear them please. And once again thanx for all the help.

First off,how are you adjusting your tv cable? nothing is vacuum controlled on the 700r4. only thing vacuum is for the 4x4 if you have 4wd. You might of got another bad tranny.
