Default shorting out???

i have a 93jimmy and the fuse for the horn/dm keeps shorting. i replaced the fuse and my horn worked and all of my dome lights. then a little later my lights stopped working and i realized that the fuse had gone. i had the correct amp fuse in, so thats not the problem. if anyone know anything about this, help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

Default RE: shorting out???

sounds like a intermittent short. The worst kind. You need to find it or it will drive you nuts until you do.

A bare spot on a wire will cause an imtermittent short, it will bounce and make contact with ground and short out sometimes.
