Default Storage Question

My Blazer is going to be going into storage for a while, possibly 6 months or more, and I'm looking for some advice. It's being kept in a non heated garage, and I've already done the basics. Sta-bil in the gas tank, took the battery out. Anything else that I should do to make sure that it will be okay while I'm out of town? Thanks.

Default RE: Storage Question

You may want to throw a few of those anti-moisture packs in the inside along with a box of baking soda (the fridge packs work great for this).

Default RE: Storage Question

I had to store my ZR2 for about 6 months. Here's what i did:

-Removed battery
-Changed oil
-Put open baking soda container on the floor in the back seat
-Put rat/mouse poison all over the floor underneath it
-Put a big piece of carpet underneath the truck to absorb any moisture
-Jacked the truck up off the ground (left on the stands) so the tires and suspension weren't sitting in the same spot for so long
-Cracked the windows a bit
-Filled the tank with 93 octane and poured some stabil in it
