Tailgate latch diagrams?
Just bought an 85 Blazer. The tailgate latch is broken. I bought a new one from LMC. Is there a way to open the tailgate with a broken latch? Are there any diagrams available?
I also have a squirelly driving problem. Is that the steering damper? Just had the alignment done and it still wants to swerve across the lane.

Are we talking a K5 blazer? Fullsize? Or S10?
Either way, you can remove the interior trim off the inside of the tailgate to get access to the interior workings of the gate and open in that way.
