Temperatur Gauge....?

For some reason my temperature gauge on the cluster is non-functional 99% of the time. Occasionall it will jump up and work for a few. What could cause this?

Thank everybody for taking their time to help everyone out the encounters a problem....

sounds like a connector is lose or broken.

or you've got a short somewhere.
