Throttle position sensor

Guy's I have a 1994 S-10 blazer. It runs pretty good except I'm getting a little stumble, lope, small miss on idle and when I press the gas. At higher speeds not to bad. The hesitation isn't real bad just noticeable and just enough to piss ya off. I have replaced the CPI, plugs wires, regulator etc. over the summer. I believe it may be the throttle position sensor. when I unplug it the car doesn't do anything when I unplug the other 2 sensors on the same harness not sure if it's a map sensor or what they make the engine die and the check engine light come on I have to reset it by unhooking battery. Could no change when I unplug the TPS sound about right? Would this little bugger make the check engine light go on if faulty how could I check without a Voltage meter? Any other ideas why I idle a little ruff?

Thanks Blazer owners in advance

On my '93 when I disconnect the TPS the engine goes to a high rpm and stays there then throws the appropriate code. When I plug it back in, the rpm goes back to the correct idle and the chk engine light goes off. I'd pull it off, check the wiring to it, arcing, loose male ends etc. clean inside...if it doesn't work then replace it. Mine has the small miss at low rpm also but i'm getting 17.3 mpg in town, so i'm not too worried about it.

Forgot I posted on here thanks for the reply .......yeah I will probably just buy another one they're relatively cheap. I guess it's something I can live with in the meantime..
