very quick question (cigarette lighter)
 

hey guys, just wondering where the fuse is for my cigarette lighter. I checked my fuse box and can't find cigar ltr. I pulled out every 15A fuse for the hell of it and they were all fine. thank you.

91 s10 blazer, 4x4

I believe it is tied in with the radio fuse.

EDIT: Radio does not work, and dome light doesn't work either (may have just burned out, but I can't tell if it is in the same circuit or not). Fuse is good. I'm thinking bad grounds. Gonna start taking some stuff apart to see what I can find.

I can't find any wiring diagrams anywhere. I've check all over this forum, google, and even some sketchy sites looking for it but I just can't find anything.

The fuse you are looking for is the (horn/DM). It covers: Horn, dome lights, glove box light, courtesy lights, clock, lighter, lighted vanity mirror, fog light relay, outside rear view mirror, lightgate release - 20 amp.

Okay, will check. My radio still does not work though. I've pulled everything out of my radio space, but will check that 20A fuse. Thank you.

Go to autozone.com and sign up for their garage, after you do, in the search field type in wiring diagram and on the right side of the page it will say the years of the blazers and just scroll down and find yours. There is multiple wiring diagrams there for every wire just about, the only difficult part is it doesn't tell you exactly where the wire is.

You must remember, each item will have its own ground. I would pull the fuse and check with a voltmeter to make sure your getting power, I know you said the fuse was good, but is it getting juice. If they all dont work thats on that fuse, maybe your not getting power to that one spot on the fuse panel. If you check and there is no power, I would OHM the hot side of that fuse to chassis ground and check for resistance to make sure your line isn't grounded out, but maybe I'm thinking too deep into it. It could be as simple as a disconnected plug/ wire on the back of the fuse panel.

Okay thank you guys. Everything works again. I would have never checked that fuse mainly because of the radio situation. For some reason the radio also works, which I'm curious about. The radio has its own circuit, does it not? Then why when I put the 20A fuse in, it began to work?
