water temp guage is broken, need help
My water temp guage in my 94 blazer reads 100 at all times and never moves up so its definetly broken. Is there a way to fix this without buying a new guage?

It sounds like the gauge. Just in case test the sender. Unplug the sender and ground that 1 wire while the key is "on". It should peg the gauge out if the gauge works. If it doesn't move then your gauge is fubr'd, or a wire connecting it.

I have a 1993 Jimmy 4.3l that had the same issue. For me the fix was the Coolant Temperature Sending unit (about $15 and fifteen minutes). My Chilton's indicates that the sensor is on the right (passenger) side of the engine above the starter for both the 1993 and 1994 V6s. The four cylinder is located on the bottom right side of the thermostat housing. My old unit was badly corroded. You can test the gauge by buying a new unit, connecting the wire to it and put it into a hot container of water to see if the gauge tracks the change in temp. If it is bad and you want to change it you will need to:
