$900 to fix replace a fuelpump?!

is there a trick to gettin those fittings off i got the one off with the clip on the right side no problem the middle 1 has no clip and its hard to get the one beside the middle one on the left since the one in the middle is in the way.....my roll over valve is broken n leekin alot of fule any tips on gettin those connections off would help me so much

I work at a chevrolet dealership. I'm doing a estimate for a fuel pump for a 2003 S10.
Fuel pump$535.60
Labor2.5 hours @ 85.00 an hour 212.50
Shop Supplies10.00
Tax53.06

My stealership charges something like $102 an hour and 10% shop supplies... So could be worse for ya :P

Did my own. Spent 2 days on my back (no lift) in the driveway. Getting the tank off was the easy part. Putting in the fuel pump was easy. The hard part that took most of the time was getting the tank back into the underside of the vehicle and getting the large hoses (filler and vent?) to align back up with tank. Took me about 12 hours to get that tank back in. It was a major fight. This was the second time replacing the pump in about a 18 months. I would gladly pay $900 now to have someone else do it for me. Getting too old for this stuff.
