1995 blazer hates "spiders"
OK i am stumped. I have a 1995 with the 4.3 vortec, This was my wifes family car but i made the mistake and bought it off them. in the last five years i have replaced the spider four times, Just about every year. about 20k miles ago i replaced the fuel pump just in case that was my problem but it was the spider. I just got around to fixing it this time, did it on my own for once, and it only lasted a day. I have alway taken it to the shop but I was tired of paying extra for labor when i am pretty handy myself. now I am back to square one. I only use premium fuel and never let it run out of fuel. Currently it wont even start or if it does it will idle poorly and cut out. Am i just missing something obvious or do i just have bad luck.? Thanks for any advice

Sounds like the problem really might be the electrical connector the spider plugs into. Check it out very carefully. You'll probably find evidence of arcing/melting.

Still cant find it. I see no signs of bad wires or connection. I tested it with my meter and it looks good. I cant see any fuel leaking so I think the nut kit is good, I plan on replacing it anyway. I guess I will move on to the fuel pump and filter...
