1998 Chevy Blazer Brakes go all the way down after replacing Caliper
We just changed the left back caliper on our blazer. We saw no leaking when we pressed the brakes before putting the wheel on.
We did bleed it.
Now we tested it. The brakes do work when going forward and back. When i have it in park though the brake pedal goes all the way down to the floor.
Any ideas?
also when we replaced the caliper we had the copper washer on ,then we tightened it but then had to take it back apart. My dad reused the same washer when we put it back together. It did not leak at all though when we tested it and the peddle did not hit the floor then.
Do i have to bleed all the brakes though? My dad thinks there might be air in it..
Any help would be appreciated!!

x2 bleed passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front then driver front.
also what helps when doing calipers is the pre fill them with fluid it cuts down on the bleeding time. bleeding can take 10 time or 100 times depending on how much fluid leaked out and air got into the system

Thanks, i bled the back ones about 5 times each and the brakes seemed good, but as soon as i started it and pressed on the brakes it went all the way down.
Ill try bleeding in that order now though.

Yes i am. Unfortunately i still have the same problem. I keep bleeding and they seem fine, but as soon as i start the car the brake pedal goes all the way down.
Should i still keep bleeding? Its a little late so ill stop for today but ill keep bleeding tomorrow if thats the problem.

I just did and they did get a tad bit firmer. Still not like they're supposed to be though and the peddle still goes all the way to the floor. As soon as i turn the vehicle off the brakes go back to normal though.
