1999 Blazer brake pedal goes to floor
I have a 1999 chevy blazer 4x4 with a 6 cyl engine. I have disc brakes all the way around. My daughter was driving the truck and had to stop suddenly. After that she had no brakes. The brake pedal goes all the way to the floor. I checked all the brakes and had to replace the rear brake pads, discs and rear passenger caliper. I bled the brakes also. The brake pedal still goes all the way to the floor when the truck is running and when the truck is not running. I cannot pump the brakes up at all. Any ideas as to why I still do not have any brakes?

have you checked all the brake lines? ive seen a few guys actually blow a line after slamming on the brakes.

I'm wondering if maybe there would be something internally wrong with the master cylinder

I checked all the brake lines and there is not a leak. I'm gonna try installing a new master cylinder.

You could probably also test it by putting it in a vise and pumping it with a screwdriver to see if it moves any fluid. Maybe just a quick test before you replace it to see if you can see anything wrong with it.
