Default 2000 Blazer Engine Angle

Just dropped the new motor in my blazer new motor mounts and all.
All the bellhousing bolts are torqued and the tranny is fully mounted.
I haven't torqued the motor mount through bolts yet.
I'm not sure but the engine looks like it is leaning to much toward the firewall.
Is this adjustable or do I just tourque it where it sits.
And if its critical what is the proper angle?

The angle of the engine is crucial! The driveline and gear clearences are all based at a certain angle and clearance. If you change the angle, even a couple degrees, you're changing the angle of the driveshaft, putting wear on the U joints and could result in some strange new sounds...

Well I guess what i am asking is will the engine automaticly have the correct angle if i torque the motor mount through bolts?
I did not remove the tranny during engine removal.

1st i would check the transmission mount as to make shure its in good condition because if the tail of the trans hangs to low it will pull the engine towards the firewall...

2nd i would use the motor mounts that were on your previous engine as they might be difrent (i had previous problems with using the wrong mounts before )

and also look under your truck and look at both drive shaft angles you should be able to tell wheather they are stressing or not...keeping in mind that if you have a lfit kit install the agle at the yolk will be greater already......

hope this helps other then those few things you could check if the portion of the frame where the motor mounts are bolted to just to make shure nothing is cracked there but this is very unlikly ive only seen this with big blocks and or bored out small blocks.......

and to your question IF you are using proper mounts yes it should have the corect angle automaticly

if the motor mounts are new and the transmission mount is old it could be that the trans mount is holding the transmission an inch or so lower witch was compatible with the old motor mounts seince new ones would have been placed i guess it would be possible that there would be a slight difrence now a new trans mount could fix this...

but 80 % of all mecanic is observation and logic...so its hard to be a real help without seeing lol

Tranny mount is new, motor mounts were identical to the old ones, I will check the driveshaft.
I may not have a problem at all the bellhousing top bolts were all just as much of a P.I.T.A. going in as they were coming out, and seem to be in the same location and I still have distributor to firewall clearance.
What got me questioning the angle is the look of the front crank pulley compared to the radiator.
I wasn't really paying attention to this when I took the motor out so it may be right.
I will find out real quick when i get to the fan and fan shroud.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
