2000 Blazer Takes Forever To Start - Sometimes Misfires
As the title says, my 2000 Chevy Blazer is having trouble starting. There hasn't been a time where it just flat out wouldn't start, but when I turn the key I can expect anywhere from 4 - 10 seconds for the engine to actually start. During this time, I can hear it turning over, and every now and then I'll get a big misfire in one of the pistons.
I think the reason is that fuel in the line is leaking back into the tank, because it runs smooth as butter when it actually turns on.
I'm kind of a noobie when it comes to the fuel system, so I don't have too much to go off of yet, but that's what the internet is for
Has anybody else had this problem or could direct me to where I can find more about it?
Thanks in advance guys.

Most auto parts stores rent/loan/sell fuel pressure testers. Connect the tester to the service port. Driver side of the distributor in a steel line, probably has a black plastic cap on it. When you initially turn the ignition to the RUN position, (don't start the engine) the fuel pump will be activated for ~2 seconds and then shut off. Fuel pressure must be tested while the fuel pump is activated. Pressure must be 60psi to 66psi and it must remain above 55psi for at least 10 minutes after the pump shuts off. If it fails one or both parts of the test, there is a problem. More tests are necessary to determine what the problem is. Post your results.
