2001 CARB cat...
So, a couple months ago i changed my Cali spec factory cat pipe because it was clogged. I custom fit an Eastern hi flow weld-in (no leaks) and it passed inspection perfectly. Problem is, about a month ago my intuition module harness got messed up and I was getting no spark for a few attempted starts, and now im throwing a cat code and my O2 readings confirm this. I figured the gas dirtied up the car so I ran some cat cleaner through it along with a couple tanks of gas to no avail..
Obviously one fuel pump situation shouldn't wreck a cat. Also, I did eliminate the precat and mounted the new one a couple inches forward of where the main used to be, about a foot back from where the precat was (though I don't think this is my problem because the precat is for cold start emissions and mine is having problems at all temps). So moving forward, do y'all think Eastern is just crap or do you think the call computer is just that sensitive?
