Exclamation 2001 chevy blazer wont start???

Hi I'm new to the forum but I own a 2001 blazer that just turned 40,000 miles. Its in mint shape, But starting last week I got in to start it and nothing?? So I took the battery out and got it tested which it tested good, so then I checked wires, fuses and looked for any loose connections. Didn't find anything so I put the battery back and tried it and it starts!! So I drive to work for a few days and everything is normal. I then jumped in it after work today and it won't start again?? The starter doesn't turn over but you can hear a clicking noise?? All dash lights and radio and everything else works and I can tell there is good voltage... I think?? If any has any answers that would be great!! Luckily I had my mountain bike with me so I made it home!!! Thanks for any help!!

So when you turn the key you hear a clicking noise? Double check that the connections to the battery are tight enough, and if you can check the connections at the starter. Generally clicking means the starter isn't getting proper power, or a bad starter. Next time that happens try hitting the starter with something or have someone hit it while you try to start it. If it starts after that then your solenoid in the starter is going out

Remove driver's side wheel to access starter terminals through rubber flap on inside fender well. Using test light, check for power sitting at the large terminal. Then hold test light on small terminal (from ignition switch) and have helper turn key to start position. If there is power and either a click or no click, the starter solenoid is bad. Note that in rare cases, the solenoid gear could be jamming into the flex plate (flywheel) on the engine. The solenoid must fully engage before power is transferred to the armature to get the starter to spin.
