Default Spark plug gap issue

Was getting ready to change the plugs(AC 41-993) in my '04 s10 blazer and found they are all gapped at .065, not .060 like vehicle requires. I've read mixed reviews on gapping these plugs and wonder if anyone else has had a problem with gapping 'em?

I would gap the plugs to what the book says, how old are the plugs? (mileage)

I have around 50k on the old ones, I think I used autolite last time. Just found it odd that OE plugs are not gapped to spec.

YOU should gap the plugs. Don't ever expect the manufacturer to gap plugs.

Stick with the AC/ Delco platinum plugs they work the BEST for these trucks. And always double check the gap settings on your plugs.

3 is easy
