98 Blazer Squeaking
Please help! Have exhausted all possibilities
The squeaking will not go away!
Have replaced belt, all pulleys, bypassed ac, and replaced alternator
Engine light had periodically been coming on and off, with just random misfire code, I forgot the exact code but its the one that has numerous possibilities.
Currently the light has been off for the past month.
It runs fine, but the squeaking noise is embarrassing and will not go away. I was positive it was the belt or a pulley, because the sound is loudest right there.

Where is the noise comming from, oh THERE! Are you sure that everything is aligned properly? Doesn't matter if it's new if it ain't lined up! Check the belt tensioner also. My F-150 ate the tensioner bearing and stayed in place, i thought i was losing the motor. Also, check the fan clutch lost that on a 97 blazer (R.I.P.).
