Unhappy 2004 blazer PO101, PO740, PO785, P2761 codes.

Hi, I purchased this blazer in August with 79,322 miles on it and am trying very hard to like it. It is a 4wd, 2dr, with a vin X. I use 87 octane gas with that super duper detergent in it. I replaced the instrument panel and fuel pump in August. September a front pinion seal was replaced and the transmission filter and gasket were replaced. October oil and filter change at 81,000 miles and a Fram air filter, just for the fun of it.
Now these codes need to be dealt with. 3 times the SES light has come on all when starting to go up a mountain. The SES light eventually goes out after the required engine stops and starts. I used an Innova 3100 scanner to get the following:
PO101 Mass/Volume Air Flow Circuit Range Performance with "Freeze Frame" info-
Fuel Sys1, CL
Fuel Sys2, CL
Calc Load %, 51.4
ECT (*F), 192
STFT B1 (%), 10.2
LTFT B1 (%), 10.9
STFT B2 (%), 9.4
LTFT B2 (%), 9.4
MAP (inHg), 26.0
ENG RPM, 3235
VEH SPEED (mph), 46
MAF (lb/min), 11.6
TPS (%), 51.4

"Enhanced DTC"- Failed Since Cleared DTC:
PO101
PO740 - Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit
PO785 - Shift Timing Solenoid "A"
P2761 - Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit/Open

Please, can anybody tell me where to begin. Should I start simple and clean the MAF and pray that will fix the PO101? Is it the transmission? Thanks in advance for your help.

The MAF sensor is the #1 place to start. A dirty MAF sensor can cause a whole host of engine & transmission problems.

Thanks, swartlkk! I appreciate your reply. I read garry2000blazer's guide for 96+MAF Cleaning. I'll recruit my son to give that a try this weekend and head for the nearest mountain to test if the MAF cleaning solved the PO101 problem. God, let it be that simple to fix.

I added 2 pics of my MAF sensor before cleaning it in Nancy's Blazer. Maybe it was a little dirty. Unfortunately, my husband took over the repair before I could get some after cleaning pics. Blazer runs a little sloppy right now. The rpm's float up and down a bit. I cleared the codes and will give the "wanna be pain in the butt" a few days to straighten itself out and hopefullly relearn the proper way to run. Fingers are crossed!

Update: I am liking this little blazer a whole lot more! The MAF sensor cleaning must have been what the blazer needed. It's running a lot better and the shifting has improved. I took the blazer to the bottom of the mountain that gave it trouble and set off the SES light and put it to the test. Went up the mountain with no problem. Hooked up the Innova 3100 scanner, reports no DTC's and a green light for emissions readiness testing! Woohoo! Thanks for your help.
