Default 3rd row seat possible in 99 s10?

I know that's a weird question. I cannot find 3 kid safety seats small enough to fit in the regular back seat, and I really love this truck and don't want to trade it. Maybe bolt the extra row down where the hooks are in the floor in the very back? Has anyone ever seen this or done this? What kind of seat did they use? (Sorry if this is the wrong section/subsection for this question)

What kind of car seats are they? I can get three booster seats in the back of mine, but it's pretty hard to get them buckled, and they don't really fit quite right.

I've thought about somehow mounting non-permanent seats in the back to those hooks as well, but never put any effort into really making it happen.

Yeah, that would be a tight squeeze! Those infant seats take up a ton of room. Time for a minivan!

Lots of SUVs came with a third row, but they were all full size, so it's going to be hard to find something to fit the narrow width of the blazer. Might be a good idea to walk around a junkyard with a measuring tape, and just see what might fit.

Also, there might be legal issues with it, as well. You would have to figure out a way to tie in the seat belts to something substantial.

A friend of mine had one of the Indonesian built Blazers, the same as the Chevy's but RHD & badged as an Opel. That had 2 3rd row seats that faced to the rear. Can only assume it was an option that must have only been available there as I've never encountered them on the UK or the US models?

you can add a rear facing 3rd row seat. I bought one through J.C. Whitney a few years back. It's for sale if anyone's interested. All the info is on the link with several pictures. Chevy Blazer 3rd row seat
