Default 95 Blazer A/C Clutch not engaging

Hoping I can get some help with this issue, Problem began as follows
Truck was warming up with the heater on, and then all of a sudden the Heater blower stopped working. I began trouble shooting, Checked fuse(Good) checked dash panel mode control( you can hear the vacuum change to defrost ect) Check Voltage to blower motor(Good) I strted checking wires under the hood and when I moved the Harness the blower turned on. I checked the Harness plug and you could see that 2 of the plugs on the female end were shorted. I checked the wiring as much as possible and changed the female end. All seemed fine. I switched the selector to defrost mode and usually the A/C Clutch will turn on(It Doesn't) I then switched over to A/C Mode(No luck) I bought a bottle of r134 with a gauge and it red low charge. The instructions say that if the clutch does not engage fill system with half the bottle. As i Began filling the system It got to the end of the safe zone color blue(45lbs) and Pop the blower stopped working I check the fuse and it is blown.
The wiring to the compressor is between 11-12 volts. I put a test light and meter on the plug on the back side of the compressor, (No power) and to the plug on the rear of the clutch (No Power).
Any suggestions on what might be the problem?
Thanks

I've been doing some research, and I'm reading that a possible fix could be replacing the
A/C clutch connector diode. When I switch to defrost,Blend or A/C the A/C fuse blows
Any thoughts?
