Default 95 Blazer stereo wiring problems

I'm having an issue with my audio. I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer LT. I bought an aftermarket JVC stereo for it. I went to install it and it kinda got caught up and when I jiggled it, I got it in but it didn't work anymore. I even pulled the Pioneer out of my other car, which had the same connections as my Blazer, and that didn't even work. Would anyone know what I can do? If it pinched a wire or fried the wires, is there a way that I can still hook up a different aftermarket stereo without the same wires? Any help would be greatly appreciate, since now I'm riding around with no tunes!
